FROM THE LATEST MESSAGE
Ever had a conversation that changed your life? Are some meetings a little more significant than others? In our passage today, we learn how Moses would have some vital encounters with God in a tent. Moses would take time and intervene for the people he led, praying for direction. Let’s look at what we can learn from Moses’ experience and discuss how we can apply it to our own lives.

Exodus 33:7-9 ( ESV )
7 Now Moses used to take the tent and pitch it outside the camp, far off from the camp, and he called it the tent of meeting. And everyone who sought the Lord would go out to the tent of meeting, which was outside the camp. 8 Whenever Moses went out to the tent, all the people would rise up, and each would stand at his tent door, and watch Moses until he had gone into the tent. 9 When Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent, and the Lord would speak with Moses.

What do you think it would have been like to be there with Moses when he met with God? What emotions do you think you would have felt? ( ex. excitement, nervousness, fear, etc. )
When Moses went to meet with God, the people would rise and stand at their tents. Why was it so crucial for Moses to speak to God on behalf of the people? Like Moses, how can your time with God have an impact on others in your life?
It’s incredible to think that Moses had a tent he would set up and meet with God in. Do you have a pattern or place where you intentionally meet with God? What do those meetings typically look like, and how do they impact you?
Why is it important to have these meetings with God regularly? Do you believe God still speaks to us today, and if so, how?
Describe a time when meeting with God brought direction or change to your life.
