It is now more important than ever to practice good hygiene! A practical way to love those around us during this time is to make sure we are not spreading any germs and keeping our family and friends healthy and safe.

Here are some practical ways to practice good hygiene:

  • Clean your hands often

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick

  • Stay home if you’re sick

  • Cover coughs and sneezes

  • Wear a facemask if you are sick

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily.

  • If you think you are sick, call your doctor or if you do not have one, call 211

God has called us to be a city on a hill and to be a light to shine bright in the darkness! In these times, when people's lives can seem dark, show the light of God's love. Through the use of technology, it's never been easier to connect and encourage others.

Here are some practical ways to encourage others:

  • Take time daily to reach out by text, email, or phone to your friends, family, neighbors, local leaders, and whoever else God leads you to and encourage them with the love of God

  • Have your kids draw encouraging letters or pictures, snap a picture of them, and text them to others or post them on social media

  • Video chat or make a phone call with others, give everyone the opportunity to share and pray together

God said we are to love Him and others as we love ourselves. What better time to show the love of God than now! As a church, we are creatively looking for ways to meet the needs of our community.

As opportunities become available, we will update the link below. Fill out the form, and we will let you know how you can get involved.

Also, showing others God's love through serving can start right where you are. Intentionally look for ways to serve your family, roommates, neighbors, or whoever God lays on your heart.

Let's be THAT church!

We believe in the power of prayer because we believe in the One who holds all power. The most important and first thing we should do is pray. Now, more than ever, people need God's love, wisdom, peace, and comfort. Let's continually pray as 1 Timothy 2:1 says:

"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people..."

Be in prayer for:

  • those who are sick and their families

  • those faced with financial uncertainties

  • medical professionals

  • law enforcement

  • elected officials

  • local pastors

  • your friends, family, and neighbors

  • how you and your family can show God's love during this time
